Shelby brings a vibrant energy and a passion for the latest trends to the Artistik Image family. Originally from Pittsburgh, PA, she embarked on her Myrtle Beach journey in 2012, enriching our salon with her unique perspective.

A graduate of the Cosmetology program at Miller Motte Technical College, Shelby has honed her skills over eight years in the field. Her dedication to continuous learning ensures she stays abreast of the industry's latest trends and techniques.

While adept at a full range of hair services, Shelby's true passion lies in unleashing her creativity through color. She specializes in crafting stunning, customized looks, mastering the art of fades and creating textured haircuts that flatter every client.

Beyond the salon, Shelby embraces a life rich with artistic pursuits.  She enjoys expressing her creativity through painting and crafting custom jewelry. In her free time, you might find her tending to her garden, exploring the waterways by kayak, or spending cherished moments with her family and friends, as well as her fur babies, Olive Rose and Odin Wolfgang.

 Joylove is a talented stylist who brings a wealth of experience and a dedication to exceeding client expectations to the Artistik Image family.  Having honed her skills in Colorado before moving to the Myrtle Beach area, Joylove offers a unique perspective and a deep well of expertise.

A graduate of the prestigious Paul Mitchell School of Hair & Beauty, Joylove's commitment to continuous learning is evident in her recent advanced training at SHB International Academy of Cosmetology.  She holds multiple certifications, including Brazilian Blowout's coveted Expert Certification in Smoothing Treatments and certifications as a Keratin Complex Certified Smoothing Treatment Stylist and a Certified Anti-Aging Stylist.  Additionally, Joylove boasts training and experience in Makeup Artistry.  Her dedication doesn't stop there; she regularly attends workshops to stay abreast of the latest trends and refine her skills in both cosmetology and the business of hair.

A true artist with color, Joylove possesses a keen eye for creating personalized styles that perfectly complement each client.  Her passion lies in helping people look and feel their absolute best, both inside and out.  Whether crafting a stylish haircut for children or adults, Joylove brings her expertise and enthusiasm to every encounter.

Beyond the salon, Joylove maintains a healthy and active lifestyle, embracing workouts and spending time in the great outdoors.  A devoted pet parent and now a proud mom to her beautiful baby boy, Hudson, born on May 18th, 2024, Joylove cherishes quality time with family and friends.

Hailing from Athens, GA (home of the University of GA!), Jennifer brings a wealth of experience and a passion for making people feel their best to Artistik Image. With 26 years as a licensed hairstylist, Jennifer graduated cosmetology school as a master cosmetologist and has built strong relationships with her clients throughout her career.

A Brazilian Blowout certified stylist, Jennifer also honed her skills at the Vidal Sassoon academy in Canada.

Her specialties include bob haircuts, multidimensional color, balayage, working with fine hair, perms for males, and curly textured hair. Jennifer is also always eager to learn more and is currently expanding her knowledge about aging hair care.

When Jennifer isn't transforming hair, you can find her spending time with her children, chasing sunrises and sunsets, enjoying beach days, fishing, hiking, cooking, or catching up on the latest hair trends on TikTok.

Originally from New Jersey, Nicole embarked on a new chapter in Myrtle Beach with her husband and children in 2013.  A long-held interest in massage therapy wasn't simply a career choice; it was a calling.  Shortly after arriving in her new home, Nicole pursued her passion, eager to translate her knowledge into a practice that fostered healing and well-being.

A graduate of Horry-Georgetown Technical College, Nicole honed her skills in a variety of modalities, each designed to address specific needs and promote holistic health.  From the deep relaxation of hot stone massage to the targeted relief of deep tissue techniques, Nicole's expertise extends to prenatal massage for expecting mothers, reflexology to stimulate the body's natural healing pathways, and cupping therapy to alleviate muscle tension and promote circulation.

Denise, a native of Madison, Georgia, has called Myrtle Beach home since 2009, enriching our community with her expertise and passion for skincare.  She began her journey in the beauty industry by completing her training at the Georgia Institute of Cosmetology, a foundation she further solidified by earning a Master's degree specializing in skincare.

With over 20 years of experience under her belt, Denise is a seasoned professional dedicated to helping clients achieve their healthiest, most radiant skin.  She holds the prestigious title of Aveda Certified Esthetics Specialist and is currently pursuing advanced training to add Dermalogica Esthetics certification to her impressive repertoire.

Denise's passion for education extends beyond the treatment room.  She previously shared her knowledge as a Spa Specialist instructor at Paul Mitchell the School, guiding students in the art of both haircare and skincare.

Denise's dedication extends beyond the salon walls.  She is a proud mother of five children and a cherished "Edee" to her eight grandchildren.  When she's not creating personalized skincare journeys for her clients at Artistik Image, Denise finds joy in spending quality time with her family and expressing her creativity through painting and photography.
